Makayla Marie Trimmell was born on February 9th, 2007 at 10:05 am. She was 7 pounds 1 ounce, and 18 inches long! She is a healthy baby girl! She is also the most beautufil thing on this earth (and no we are not biased because we are the parents)! Mama Trimmell is doing great after a little post partum scare...We are all doing great!
We feel so blessed to have such a wonderful support system and we thank all of you for your help. We will be posting more as fun and exciting things happen so visit often! Love you all!

What a wonderful blessing is Makayla. We (the grandparents) get to spoil her big time. We are so proud of Mike and Shawna. They will be great parents.

I just want to congratulate Shawna and Michael on the birth of your beautiful daughter, Makayla. From the photos it appears that mommy and daddy are adjusting to parenthood very nicely. We hope to meet your adorable baby girl soon. Cherish each and every special moment because before you even realize it she will be grown up. I truly believe that there's nothing better in life that being a parent and then the joy of being a grandparent is right up there too. Love you guys!

Im so happy for you and your new little family. It wasnt long ago that we were all in school and just starting out in life. I remember the pictures of me and Shawna from when we were little. I hope you buy her those little black and white shoes that you had...and if you cant find them....I will find then for you and that will be my gift. I cant believe that you have a family f your own. Im so happy for you that words cannot even begin to describe it. I love you and your new baby girl....she has the same middle name as me!! ha ha ha...if you even need any help, Im great with babies so you both can take a nap...you will need it.
